For over 60 years, we’ve been looking out for Australians on home soil – and we can also be there for you when you travel. We offer two International plans and one Domestic plan, with options to tailor your cover to better suit your trip.* Here are some things you might want to consider when deciding on a policy:
Got an existing medical condition? Check to see if it’s one we automatically cover and that you meet the criteria in our PDS. If not, you can apply to add cover for an additional premium.
Taking any valuable items? Check item limits included – you may be able to add additional cover if required.
Taking any sports and leisure equipment? Cover is available for an additional premium, but you must specify them on your policy.
Participating in snow sports and activities? To be covered under your policy’s benefits while participating, you’ll need to add our Snow Sports and Activities option for an additional premium.
Consider the different levels of cover available. Are you after a broader range of benefits, or are you concerned mostly about medical cover?
Consider the value of your trip. Include flights, accommodation and other bookings. Select an appropriate level of cancellation cover to avoid over-paying or being underinsured.
Consider purchasing your policy at the same time as booking your trip. You can include pre-trip cancellation cover to offer protection for trip related out of pocket expenses in case unexpected events prevent you from travelling.
*Subject to the terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions for each policy as contained in the PDS.
